Latin School of Chicago Sports Equipment Drive
From October 9 to 25, 2024, Gear2Give partnered with Latin School of Chicago to host a sports equipment drive across the Upper, Middle, and Lower School campuses. Over the three-week period, we successfully gathered 197 usable pieces of sports equipment, including donations from sports categories new to Gear2Give, such as skateboarding, track and field, golf, ping pong, field hockey, and even a pogo stick!

We extend our sincere gratitude to the G2G team members for their dedication to organizing this impactful event and to everyone who donated. Your contributions are vital to advancing G2G’s mission of promoting sustainability and accessibility in youth sports throughout Chicago.

The sports gear was donated to our partner, the Chinese American Service League (CASL) and the Chicago Youth Foundation (CYF). These donations will provide opportunities for the CASL and CYF youth to participate and pursue their athletic passions.
